The design,

is remarkably simple, without compromise.

Installation is quick, easy, and tool-free—even on the go.

Remove the Backbone:

  1. Open the quick-release handle.
  2. Turn the handle counterclockwise a few times to loosen it.
  3. Use your thumb to push the handle away from the clamp plate.

Install the Backbone:

  1. Choose the correct rubber insert and press it into the clamp.
  2. Place the clamp around the seat post with the tube angled upward.
  3. Close the clamp plate. Position the handle so the spacer rests on top of the plate.
  4. Turn the handle clockwise a few times to tighten it.
  5. Close the handle and test the horizontal tube. It should support weight with little movement. Tighten the handle as needed.
  6. If the fit is too loose or too tight, try the other rubber insert or use both.

No tools required—ready in minutes!

Built without compromise

Thick T6 6061 aluminum—the proven material used in bicycle frames—is paired with skilled TIG welding and dependable hardware for rough roads, repeated use, and accidental drops.

Simple by design

A practical solution should feel obvious once you use it. The tool-free clamp, centered load, and familiar backpack keep the system efficient and adaptable.
