The padded V top quick-releases from its shaft. Separate the two pieces to make the platform easier to stow between rides.

Your Pro setup review
Get it dialed in with us.
After your Pro arrives, contact Support with your order number and photos of your bike and backpack setup. We’ll help you review platform position and the cable-and-winch setup, and point you to the relevant installation guidance.
Included with your Pro purchase at no extra charge. Follow the installation guide and all safety checks before riding; a photo review does not replace those checks.

A subtle detail by day. A bright accent when light hits it after dark. The Backbone lettering is reflective.

Fits most standard bikes.
Designed for a cylindrical seatpost, 22–32 mm in diameter, with 2 inches of exposed space between the saddle clamp and the frame’s seatpost collar. These two measurements make setup straightforward. Get help with your setup.

Install the Backbone on your seatpost, position the platform beneath your backpack, and adjust it for your riding position. Follow the complete installation instructions and check the support before every ride.
How is Pro different from Standard V?
Both include Backbone 8.3 and the wider V Platform. Pro adds the Black-BONE cable-and-winch system for heavier loads, plus a complimentary personalized setup review.
Does this include a messenger bag?
No. This is a bicycle backpack-support package. Use it with your own compatible backpack or messenger bag.
Can I buy the upgrades separately?
Yes. The V Platform and the Black-BONE cable-and-winch system are available separately.
What warranty is included?
